Patna Municipal Corporation (PMC)

Patna Municipal Corporation came into being on 15 Aug 1952 having a total of about100 sq.km area with population of 16.84 lakh (Census 2011). It is divided into 4 Circles with a total of 75 wards. In recent times, a lot of efforts are going on to achieve the objective of SBM well before mission target date. On occasion of World Environment Day, we are launching Segregation of Waste at Source throughout the city and will become part of our activity of Door to Door Collection of Waste.
